What sells on eBay during a recession?
So called “survival type items” are hot during a depresion. Guns, first aid kits, camping stuff, foods that can be freeze dried, etc.
Cooking becomes very hot during a recession. Sell cooking tips and books as well as kitchen furniture.
Alcohol & Wine on ebay
Alcohol, Wine and Liquors are hot when people don’t have money. Of course people will drink more if they have more problems, but wine is also good to relax from the additional stress.
Card & table games sell well. Also condoms and other forms of birth control tend to sell better.
Stay away from non-essential products
Entertainment equipment and digital products like camers sell less. Focus on products that are essential that you really need. Also all forms of cheap indoor activites experience quite a boost on eBay.
